and another one

we played ulster from belfast last night. we last played them in belfast with six players and ended up winning by 2. this was a lil different story. we beat em by 27pts. we started off alright holding down a 15 pt lead after the first quarter, but coach didn't start our best five, instead leaving amir to come off the bench. so we had a weak link on the floor turning the ball over everytime he touched it so we weren't really running fluidly. it was back and forth a bit in the second quarter and we went into halftime up 13pts. to start the second half he put the best 5 on the floor and we started punishing them, going up 35pts in about a 5 minute span. we than sat back on the bench and gave the reigns over to the "local lads", the lead got cut to about 17..... we go back in game over. these other guys are just terrible. i played alright, had about 12pts, 4 assist and 6 boards in limited time. i missed my first dunk opportunity, got an outlet and an open break, went up and didn't turn it over to vince it...i don't know why, i was well over the rim, just not used to smashing yet. dra had about 5 dunks in the game, 2 off of lobs. amir played with more of a precence and was staying real positive despite coming off the bench which was impressive. i liked the way he handled it. sam still spent too much time on offense doing his own thing but whatcha gonna do. he's always trying to be greedy at home games. we were talking about it after and it's still an unfulfilling feeling after we beat up on teams because we know we still haven't clicked yet. when we do....danger!

dra flew this girl in from germany for the weekend and each night i had to work at the club while watching all them booze while they used me for the "team discount". i had alot of fun though clowning around with the fellas, dancing behind the bar and telling people stories all about australia or whatever country i decide to be from. some dude tried to pull "the knacker hustle" on me giving me a tenner and then saying that he gave me a $20 and demmanding to see the manager and getting all angry and making a scene, i guess they try to pull it all the time, intimidating people into giving away money. i aint no sucka! had a team fundraiser this morning at 9 am ... killing me with the no sleep, 4 hrs after getting back from the club. we had a conditioning practice today, the day after a game. my knees and ankle are hating coach right now.
