miceail's misadventures

How many roads must a man walk down, before you call him a man? How many seas must the white dove sail, before she sleeps in the sand? The answer my friend, is blowing in the wind

day 1 of 365

hungova like jehova, i get brought to mass for new years day. it was sad when i thought of the last time i actualy went to mass, then i make it there and its all in espanyol.... i think i was there more for the architecture and reflection than the soul cleansing. i had big plans on swimming in the ocean like last year in vancoolver but the momentum from my previous nights enthusiasm waned a bit after i woke up.

later in the day we went to Park Güell which is on the slopes of a hill overlooking the city, the harbor and the ocean. it was started by a rich industrialist count güell at the end of the 19th century.... he hired this famous artist/architect called gaudi to build him this park. this guy gaudi really does amazing work and we are going to his famous church that he built tommorow but i´ve seen a bunch of his work around town and he is sensational. the count ran out of money before he could finish building this spectacular park, which until i post some pics of it you really can´t appreciate the workmanship and attention to detail that went into it and the stunning vistas that it provides. the city took it over and completed it and then it was named a "world heritage site" by unesco. apparently most of the bonita senoritas spend their time there as well. this gaudi guy built these really intricate tile mosaic park benches that weave around this plaza that is supported by these big romanesque columns.

i went out tonight and continued my tour of european strip clubs and watched a couple spanish fly´s do their thing... i´m not gonna lie it was like stepping off the precipice of stripclubdom compared to the spearmint rhino in london.... but an experience none the less. a lot of females go to the clubs kinda like cheetahs back home. went and checked out the peep shows like from boondock saints.... pretty funny! sexuality on the whole is so much more open over here. went to an australian pub with boomerangs and kangeroos on the wall. commonly overheard convo; "good'ay mate, gimme a fosters and throw another shrimp on the barbé!" the plazas here are great just to chill, smoke cigars and people watch.
