miceail's misadventures

How many roads must a man walk down, before you call him a man? How many seas must the white dove sail, before she sleeps in the sand? The answer my friend, is blowing in the wind

college park: bigger longer and uncut

damnnn, i feel like i've fallen off the face of the earth without hitting up the net for almost a week. been training hard, doing lots of shooting, filling some time taking a few bartending shifts this week, absorbing a few more drops of irish culture before i leave. they run a carvery during the day so i've been eating like a king; steak and prawns, cheesesteak sandwiches. it sure beats my usual chicken and vegetables. i'm like that with the chefs, so they take care of me. i get a course in irish history 101 from these dudes everytime i go and chill with them. i learned of the irish migration in the last 200 years to argentina, northern italy/southern france, mexico, western england, glascow ect... apparently 180 million people claim irish ancestry around the world. thats pretty crazy. esp considering the country presently only harbors around 3.8 million. i guess the irish don't like condoms... they are for sailors, as austin would say

chilling with lindsey and colt 45

our game last weekend got postponed to this sunday as there was some mixup with referees and basketball ireland let us down. sligo was down 20 to galway in the fourth quarter last weekend and ended up winning by six. we were that close to taking over first place...damn. practices have been pretty good lately. going against dra everytime is only getting me stronger, better and more creative. i'm trying to lineup when i'm coming home. i'm getting super excited to hang out with everyone again, feels like its been so long. all the kids are getting sad we are leaving, saying the place aint gonna be the same without us.....they're right. to tell you the truth though coaching these high school teams has been one of the best things i've experienced over here. its been a really rewarding feeling.
