skin cancer
i'll save the coroner the prognosis. for a guy with a british isles complextion, the summer consists of alot of things that suck. constantly worrying about the amount of time i've spent in the sun, when was the last time i applied and having to stock aloe vera and sunblock like toilet paper. we have this men's health mag at the house and in it there is an article about the risks of skin cancer and at the end is a questionaire that asseses your risk.
there are ten questions and they say that if you answered "yes" to three or more of them then you were at a high risk of skin cancer....... i said yes to seven of them.......whoops! i'm male, i'm white, have red hair, i work outside, have freckles/moles, have a family history and had a bad sunburn as a kid. the only ones that i managed to say "no" to where that i don't smoke, don't use tanning beds and do not live at high altitude.
to prevent the onset, besides the obvious, they recommend ingesting lots of ketchup, mustard, iced t and lemon slices..... sounds like they want me to go to alot of bbq's.... they got themselves a god-damn deal. then in typical men's health style, they recommended me to buy a $18 bottle of neutrogena extra special sunscreen.
