stag .....the remix
with 2 hours sleep under my belt we all met up at taylor's brother in laws house for caesars and vodka. felt rough but only option left was powering through. we loaded up the ski boat that they had just bought and picked up in cali over ebay. we drove out to swan-e-set golf course. it was a beautiful club they had a great lavish lay out and clubhouse. i didn't like the actual course that much. many of the holes were very similar and the fact that i lost about 6 balls, incited a lil rage induced club throwing. i think we were there to drink more than anything though.

this is the only pic i took at the course, not a very good one, not really showing of the expansive-ness of the setup. this was the course that the movie happy gilmore was filmed at. it was pretty expensive but you got the lavish treatment. it was pretty funny seeing the locations of some of the scenes from the movie as we chased around our balls. like the pond where he wrestled the alligator and where sandler fought bob barker. no shortage of references throughout our round.

why don't you just go to your home?!!?!?!
i golfed with tay and the bachelorette managed to shoot the low round of the day amongst the 20 of us that were there. i'm pretty sure they were glad to see us leave. bumper cars with the golf carts, driving into sand traps and the throwing of clubs into the water was a lil bit shameful but laughs for days. having an actual wedding in front of the clubhouse while our bachelor party was doing rounds of jager-bombs, pitchers on pitchers of beer and throwing peanuts around like insults was not a good combo.
from there we took our armada of ski boats to pitt lake, which is the only tidal lake in canada. it was a beautiful day and getting out on the water was pretty much the best idea. one of the dudes had a cabin that we all stayed at. it was about a 45 minute boat ride from the boat lauch that was in some regional park. it was rustic but a sweet setting, surrounded by mountains in a demi gorge. makes you realize how beautiful it is out here. there was a generator, bbq and full bathroom which made it alot easier than straight up camping.

this is the cabin and the docks out front. there was a big fire pit out front and to the left. we all set up our tents and such on the wrap around deck of the cabin as it only slept about 5 or 6.

this was the view from off of the deck where we had our stuff set-up. you can see the solar panels that provided power to most of the places.

in between all the waterskiing drinking and wakeboarding we went to where there was this huge tree swing out onto the lake. from an overhanging tree you basically could get out and have a 30 ft drop down from your release point. i hate heights but i had a great time flying down off that thing. they built up a cool takeoff point above the rock face. near death tales from the regulars were pretty crazy.
