miceail's misadventures

How many roads must a man walk down, before you call him a man? How many seas must the white dove sail, before she sleeps in the sand? The answer my friend, is blowing in the wind

raw is war

talking about war and oligarchy issues the last few days and how cloudy it is for most people to see through. the tactics and media manipulation to pull things off in our time, where there are so many media forums and access to information you get a sad admiration for the lengths that people and governments go to in which to gain support and/or control over their populations. maybe thats why we see more and more church and state ties of late. when the methods or failed attempts come out in the wash so to speak, people just get pushed forward as "the fall guy". there is always a new guy....

the glorification of war and perceived "nationalism" is overstruck lately. apparently after the two great wars in europe earlier this century...veterans wanted nothing to do with the cenitaph remembrances and the pagentry of the parades.... they just wanted to forget and pass their time not drumming up thse horific memories. the only ones who were trumpeting around were the administraters, home office and the background support staff. the real soldiers who saw the actual action had a completely different mentality, and this was before they knew what post traumatic stress syndrome was. unlike the fiascos of our generation...they were part of something that had legitimacy..... but i suppose in the end it does just come down to power and that struggle.

remembrance day approaches....
