nba
life just got a little sweeter.... NBA season kicked off a few nights back. now i get to wake up to highlights every morning and the monotony of my day to day life is that much more dissolved. i joined a few fantasy leagues this year that i plan on absolutely destroying with my huge basketball brain. My prognostication for the upcoming season: 2008 champs are the houston rockets. they will beat the spurs early then grind it out against against kid canada. mcgrady's coming out party
Western conference: Rockets over Suns
Eastern conference: Celtics over Knicks
MVP: garnett silk
EXTRAS:
- the cavs are gonna look alot like the AI sixers team that went to the nba finals and never really were the same afterwards
- the knicks are back in the playoffs as the 6 seed. nate robinson starts to show he can play point and that he's not just a gimmick
- barring injury, the nuggets are the can't miss team for highlights
- kobe will get traded while i write this. it will be like the 90's again: just another 2-guard that plays for the bulls that i despise
- chris paul is gonna have a mean year... esp if peja stays healthy and opens up that lane for him
- one of the most complete teams in the league is the raptors. if you don't get a chance to watch em much... do so. bargnani is gonna show alot this year. kid looks confident. watch out for highlights by this rookie called jamario moon

Rap is part of what makes B-ball players look like a bunch of clowns. Those clowns would be throwing up gang signs and shout outs during the game if they could get away with it. Get the money, get the bling! Attitudes that won't get the ring. Egos and selfish attitudes seem to ruin the NBA. Like Tribe and Wu, good teams are rare. I would rather watch football. Too much flash and a 250lb dude shuts your lights off. Pain must be humbling. With that said, GO RAPS!
