miceail's misadventures

How many roads must a man walk down, before you call him a man? How many seas must the white dove sail, before she sleeps in the sand? The answer my friend, is blowing in the wind

through tinted shades

Before my shoot around this afternoon they were cleaning the floors with this lil danish zamboni thing they got. i realized how canadiana that was waiting for the zamboni to finish to play. except HOCKEY BLOWS! i guess the handball dudes use this sticky stuff on the ball, kinda like baseball guys do on their bats, like pine tar. so the floor gets sticky-fied steady. so.... handball blows as well

so bizarro continues over here. they have these businesses that sell grave tombstones. and they just litter them in front of their stores. like its gonna catch your eye.... like ohhh! stop the car honey! i think i now know what kinda rock i want above me when i keel.

How bout a horse! i dunno its just comical to me. u never see that back home. most cities and towns i drive thru have one of these, gas station, grocery store, pub, restaurant, tombstone dealer, car lot, bakery.

denmark loves their flags! i guess it may be because they have so much wind or that its just a european identity thing. i would guesstimate 30% of danish houses have a flag pole. its a pretty staggering amount, compared to backhome anyways. they are all white with a red cap on top. i dunno if the gov't subsidizes flag poles out here but it seems like it.

most of the time they fly the wispy long thin flag but here is a proper one. i guess the die hards put it up and take it down everyday. most people just rock them on national holidays, deaths, celebrations, that sort of thing. nationalism stamp.

we do some coaching in the outlying towns surrounding lemvig, promoting bball. driving thru these places you quickly realize how prevalent the churches are in each community. a holdover from earlier times. they are all quaint little outposts, surrounded by windmills. its a weird little thing to see.
